This is a great opportunity to join a growing team working in a highly dynamic policy area. You will support the development of a strategic approach to all intergovernmental water policy issues, including the Murray Darling Basin Plan and the National Water Agreement. Building good stakeholder relationships across Water and Catchments, the department and other governments is important to this role. Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications \* An appropriate tertiary qualification in environmental science, natural resource/environmental management, public policy or approved equivalent is highly desirable. \* Experience working in the public sector is highly desirable, including a thorough knowledge and understanding of government processes (such as briefing, coordination, and meeting processes). This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
