Description:
Our client, a Digital Agency, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of eCommerce website projects.This role involves managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Please note that you must have experience working in a digital agency with experience managing eCommerce projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of eCommerce website projects, ensuring they align with business goals.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clients to define project scope, technical specifications, and business objectives.
- Work alongside design and development teams to ensure projects remain within scope and budget.
- Oversee the integration of third-party applications, APIs, and eCommerce tools.
- Utilise content management systems and project management software to streamline workflows.
- Maintain quality control by ensuring all deliverables meet agreed-upon standards.
- Identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve project roadblocks.
- Provide ongoing project updates, reports, and post-launch performance reviews.
- Stay up to date with eCommerce trends and suggest strategic improvements for client success.
- Mentor junior team members and support leadership in achieving business goals.
Key Skills You'll Have:
- Proven experience in web project management, ideally within a digital agency setting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects at various stages.
- Ability to navigate complex timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Solid background in eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, and headless CMS solutions.
- Expertise in managing both high-budget and smaller-scale digital projects.
- Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Google Suite.
- Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
This role is based in Sydney and operates a hybrid work model.
