An e xciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a rapidly growing firm in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. This is their newest office, which is one of 3 in Sydney. About the Role:

As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of clients of mostly family groups, and SMEs. Some of their clientele are quite complex and there will also be exposure to internationals with over $1bn in revenue.

You will be responsible for reviewing compliance, researching tax issues, assisting the partner with advisory work, and virtual CFO services while managing day-to-day client relationships and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

You will mentor junior staff, reviewing their work and providing guidance to support their professional development.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in strategic business decisions, working closely with the Partner on the firm’s growth trajectory
About You:
-
At least 3 years of accounting experience within public practice in Australia

Strong knowledge of XERO and other accounting software.

Ability to build strong relationships with clients and understand their unique needs.

A proactive and eager-to-learn mindset, looking to grow in a fast-paced, dynamic firm.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
