Full-time Joiner position available in Unanderra, NSW 2526UTJ Interiors is one of Australia’s premier manufacturers of custom joinery and detailed veneering, specializing in the creation of bespoke fittings for hotels, universities, schools, and commercial facilities. We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join their talented team and contribute to the production of high-quality timber structures and fittings that transform spaces. As a Joiner at UTJ Interiors, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and fitting timber parts in their workshop to create the detailed joinery products that form the foundation of their projects.

Position Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to assess the materials required, as well as determining dimensions and installation methods for joinery products.
- Selecting and ordering appropriate timber and materials
- Cutting, shaping, and assembling timber components
- Installing and fitting frameworks, roof structures, and flooring systems, checking alignment and accuracy throughout the process.
- Securing fascia panels, covering roofs, and fitting external wall cladding, along with door and window frames, as per project requirements.
- Assembling and constructing wooden structures and custom fittings that are ready for final installation in client spaces.
- Creating precise wood joints to ensure strong, durable, and seamless connections between timber components.
- Occasionally constructing formwork for concrete structures when required for specialized projects.
- Performing repairs on existing joinery fittings.
- Working with a variety of materials such as plastic laminates, perspex, and metals to create bespoke joinery solutions as part of commercial or high-end residential projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant qualifications
- A minimum of one years' experience in a similar role.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients.
- Strong attention to detail for ensuring precision in designs and specifications.
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety standards and protocols in the workshop and on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between: $73,000 - $80,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
