The Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Paint & Finishing Specialist with a background in automotive spray painting, panel beating, or industrial coatings to help bring next-generation products to life. Working on everything from high-performance marine components to aviation-grade composites, you’ll play a critical role in achieving flawless surface finishes, coatings, and protective applications.

What You’ll Do

  • Surface Preparation & Painting – Clean, sand, mask, and apply coatings using spray guns, brushes, or other methods to achieve a flawless finish.
  • Specialised Coatings & Finishing – Act as the subject matter expert to mix and apply paints, finishes, and protective coatings for a variety of project requirements.
  • Quality Control & Detailing – Inspect surfaces, perform touch-ups, and apply detailing work as needed.
  • Collaboration & Innovation – Work with engineers and fabricators to refine processes and explore new materials, techniques, and finishing methods.
  • Equipment & Safety Compliance – Maintain a clean workspace, ensure equipment is in top condition, and adhere to all safety regulations.

Skills & Experience

  • Background in automotive spray painting, panel beating, or industrial coatings.
  • Experience with composite materials, fiberglass, or carbon fibre (a plus, but not required).
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to work to precision standards.
  • A passion for innovation, problem-solving, and hands-on craftsmanship.
  • The ability to adapt to new techniques and high-tech manufacturing processes.
