As Senior Manager, Operations Support and Process Enhancement , you will lead process improvements, optimise financial data and reporting, and provide expert advice to enhance operational efficiency. Sitting within the Finance Systems and Data unit, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders, technology partners, and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions, mitigate risks, and drive smarter decision-making.

Key responsibilities will include :

Lead process improvements and identify opportunities to enhance financial operations across UQ.

Optimise financial data collection, analysis, and reporting to support informed decision-making.

Act as the key liaison between internal stakeholders, IT teams, and external technology providers.

Oversee the development and implementation of operational enhancements, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position until February 2026 at HEW Level 9.
About You-
Proven experience in business process analysis, improvement, and financial operations.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.

Expertise in finance systems and technologies such as Kofax, PeopleSoft, ProMaster, and Cloud MarketPlace.

Advanced analytical skills with experience in data reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Business Objects.

Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset to drive operational enhancements.

Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, business cases, and presentations.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia and a criminal check.
