To support our continual growth, we are searching for a CHPP Maintenance / Workshop Supervisor to join our Queensland team. This permanent position will be a based in Mackay with all on site/additional hours paid.About the opportunity
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent or Regional Manager, the successful candidate will be required to manage shutdown teams across various site CHPP and Mackay workshop, ensuring that works are progressing safely and according to deadlines.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Liaising with clients and management teams to build relationships
- Ensuring that safety is adhered to at the highest standard
- Pre-shut scoping of allocated works ensuring adequate time and resources are available for safe and successful execution
- Adhering to contractual and company KPIs
- Ensuring the team have all the required tools and information to complete the works to the highest standard
- Post-shut close out, including project reports, timesheets and assisting with invoicing
- Workshop Supervision working alongside Maintenance Superintendent.
- Trade qualified
- CHPP experience
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance and/or commissioning of CHPP equipment (i.e. crushers, apron feeders, scrubbers, belt filters, pumps, etc.)
- Experience in liaising with clients and meeting deadlines
- Leading Hand or Supervisory experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Microsoft Project exposure is desirable, but not necessary
- G189 (formerly S123)
- Current CBM (Coal Board Medical)
- Current Standard 11 Competency
- Confined space (less than 2 years old)
- Gas Test Atmospheres
- Working at heights (less than 2 years old)
- EWP, Dogging, Rigging, Gantry Crane & Forklift (desirable)
