The Role:
My client is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager. The role seeks an individual to who comes from a strong FM background and will be required to oversee all the facilities and maintenance. This includes the financial planning, asset management, work health safety, project management and continuous improvement related to the safe and efficient operation of the facility. As the Facilities Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our distribution centre's infrastructure, maintenance, and overall facility/operational management.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all Facilities Management/Operations within the Warehouse (both hard and soft services)
  • Walk around the site, engaging with team leaders proactively whilst checking status, providing updates, and following up with all requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage all trades, contractors and service technicians for maintenance and raised work requests
  • Establishing all contractors are being compliant, through completing site inductions whilst ensuring policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Managing and overseeing Asset Planning and Budget preparation
  • Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and ensure appropriate actions are taken to mitigate risks and minimize disruptions to operations
  • Assisting with financial planning, asset management, WHS, project management and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in managing reactive and preventative maintenance of Assets within the Warehouse.
  • Handling requests, queries, and escalations from on-site operations staff at the DCs
  • Find proactive solutions to any identified issues and escalations whilst onsite.

Requirements:

  • FM / Operations experience within Distribution Centres/Warehouses (Desirable)
  • Background in Comnmercial or any technical Operations areas such as Data Centres, Industrial/Logistics, Warehouses, Distribution Centres, A grade Assets (Highly Desirable)
  • Strong stakeholder, contractor management skills and customer service (Highly Desirable)


Extra Details:

  • Salary - $60 P/H - $70 P/H + Super
  • 3-6 Month Role (Strong chance of Permanency)
  • Location: Parkinson QLD
  • Immediate Start!!
  • Must be immediately available
  • Strictly onsite
  • Standard Working Hours: Monday to Friday
