Are you ready to take on a unique and exciting opportunity as a Test and Evaluation (T&E) Engineer? Join our dynamic team at Nova Systems, where you'll play a crucial role in providing consultancy advice and technical solutions to our clients on impactful Aerospace projects. As a T&E Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of innovation. No two days will be the same, and you'll be making a significant impact in the Aerospace and Defence sectors.
What you will be involved in:
- Planning, coordinating, and executing test and evaluation activities across a range of Aerospace projects
- Advocating for T&E functions within projects and governing T&E projects
- Planning data collection to provide assurance and consolidating information
- Engaging with stakeholders to identify requirements and planning tests to gather the necessary data
- Evaluating data to provide assurance and communicating test results and outcomes
- Utilising digital skills to rationalise test programs
- Analysing test results and providing technical feedback and recommendations to stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with Defence standards and requirements, including safety and risk management protocols
- Engaging in stakeholder management and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Supporting client projects and providing consultancy advice in a project setting
What we would like from you:
- Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain an NV1 AGSVA Security clearance
- A T&E qualification with at least 2 years of relevant T&E post-graduate experience
- Familiarity with T&E standards, methodologies, and tools (e.g., test planning, analysis, reporting)
- Experience in Defence T&E / V&V projects (highly desirable) or below-the-line systems development programs
- Experience in Defence procurement processes and lifecycle management
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders
