The People & Culture Partner is responsible for the provision of advice, coaching and support to people leaders across the full breadth of People & Culture (P&C) activities, and in accordance with relevant legislation, Enterprise Agreements, Awards, policies and procedures. As a part of the broader People & Culture team, this position will effectively liaise with national and other regional P&C teams for effective implementation and provision of P&C services to Calvary.
Reporting to the P&C Manager, you will manage grievances and disciplinary processes, including undertaking investigations, and preparing briefs and recommendations. An experienced People & Culture professional, you will have the opportunity to make this role your own, identifying and recommending new and innovative strategies, policies, procedures, and systems. You will empower managers and employees to provide feedback and ideas to influence the way that services are provided. Working collaboratively with regional leaders you will assist in the effective management of employee performance, provide advice on recruitment and selection, as well as support the development of employees to reach their potential.
We are currently seeking an experienced P&C Partner to join the SA team on a permanent full-time or part-time basis. We offer flexible working arrangements for a supportive work-life balance.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role within a large organisation
- Demonstrated understanding of, and experience in the interpretation and application of employment legislation, enterprise agreements, policies and procedures
- Analytical skills to lead and undertake workplace investigations and disciplinary processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
