As our Procurement & Logistics Coordinator , based in Springfield Central, you'll be crucial in ensuring smooth procurement and logistics operations.
In your new role, you will:
- Ensure that all procurement activities are ethical, legal, and processed on time. Keep documentation aligned with company policies using OneDrive, ORACLE NetSuite, and MEX.
- Proactively identify, mitigate, and escalate procurement and supply chain risks to the National Procurement Manager and Finance Manager.
- Monitor open orders weekly, track inventory levels, and ensure cost-effective procurement practices for better budget control.
- Work with freight forwarders to ensure all required documents are in place for exporting goods. Stay updated on stock in transit to ensure timely delivery.
- Partner with the logistics team to guarantee efficient and prompt delivery of goods. Build positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
To be successful, you will:
- Minimum 2-3 years in procurement or logistics management.
- Proficient with ORACLE NetSuite, MEX, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organisational and communication skills are a must.
- Have prior knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules
- A detail-oriented, proactive team player who can manage multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines.
