To make this happen, we have an incredible team of Managers, Team Leaders, House Leaders, Lifestyle Assistants and Youth Workers supporting our participants.
About the Role
As the House Leader, you will play a critical role in supporting the Team Leader, by overseeing and coordinating the daily operations and compliance of the house for effective service delivery.
This will include participant documentation, fortnightly stakeholder reporting, monitoring the house and client finances and all aspects of compliance, ensuring it aligns with Aspire Hub’s expectations and NDIS Quality Standards.
Additionally, you will guide, support, and mentor Lifestyle Assistants and complete buddy shifts with new employees, setting them up to provide the highest quality care.
The house is located at Baldivis and has two Participants. The successful candidate will have exceptional time management, the ability to support the team to provide the highest quality care to the Participants.
Above all, you will provide direct support to our participants ensuring that we deliver on our mission and values.
About You
You have a Certificate III in Individual support or relevant higher qualifications and extensive and proven experience leading a house in an NDIS residential setting.
With your ability to build rapport with participants, stakeholders, management, and employees and strong written and verbal communication skills, you are able to guide Lifestyle Assistants in the requirements of their role, provide timely information and support to the Team Leader, maintain daily operations of the house and ultimately provide quality support to our participants.
Position requirements:
- An Australian citizen or permanent resident with unlimited rights to work in Australia.
- Current open Australian driver’s license and own a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current NDIS Worker Screen.
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Current First aid and CPR Certificates.
- Certificate III in Individual Support or higher.
- Current Police Check.
