Leading Hand - Fabrication

Austcorp Executive are partnering with a well established design, fabrication and service provider of heavy mobile equipment. They work closely with the mining, construction, agricultural and general freight industries throughout Australia.
On the back of a successful year the team are looking to recruit an experienced Leading Hand - Boilermaker on a full time basis.
As the Leading Hand - Boilermaker your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Oversee a team of boilermakers in relation to the fabrication and repair of heavy mobile equipment
• Scheduling and prioritizing work to meet production targets
• Checking of technical drawings
• Mentoring of tradespeople, trade assistants and apprentices
• Adhere to OG&S requirements

A little bit about you:

• 2 + years experience in a fabrication role
• Trade qualification in Fabrication/ Boilermaker or Vehicle Body Building
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience managing junior members of workshop staff
