Description:
- Develop and implement safety protocols in line with regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits regularly.
- Provide safety training and awareness sessions for the staff.
- Investigate and report any health and safety incidents.
- Participate in safety committee meetings and initiatives.
- Monitor compliance with safety procedures and policies.
- Provide advice and guidance on health and safety matters.
- Work closely with the Human Resources department to ensure a safe work culture.
Requirements:
A successful Health & Safety Advisor will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in a similar role within a health and safety role.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and standards.
- Exceptional communication skills to relay safety procedures and standards.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
- Capability to deliver safety training and awareness programs.
- Ability to handle emergency situations efficiently and calmly.
Conditions:
- Salary range of $110K - $115K plus superannuation.
- 2 days in home and 3 in the office.
- Permanent, full-time role.
- Frankston location.
