About the Role
A couple of our Federal Government Clients are seeking Infrastructure and Cloud Engineers to commencement around April or May 2025 .
We have a couple of Cloud Engineering roles with clients ranging from 6 to 12 months in length with long term extension options available if required, located at our client’s Canberra office. Hybrid working arrangements can be offered, however candidates must be based in Canberra.
As the selected candidate, you will:
- Provide subject matter expert advice in relation to Cloud based solutions and Authentication and Integration of Identity solutions.
- Deliver the desired outcomes by maintaining, supporting, and troubleshooting Cloud based solutions to achieve efficiencies.
- Collaborate effectively with agile project team and technical team lead to produce a solution in accordance with requirements and broader objectives.
- Contribute your expertise to ensure the system meets the functional requirements, performance thresholds and is sustainable into the future
- Ensure that best practice and organisational standards are applied and managed covering technologies but not limited to AWS, GCP, VMWare, F5, AWS and Azure platforms and their integration.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
- Communicate and negotiate technical concepts with non-technical staff effectively.
- Ensure technical solutions are in line with business requirements; and
- Contribute towards knowledge and skills transfer.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience in the implementation and management of services hosted in Google Cloud services at enterprise level.
- A level of understanding of inter-cloud and/or on-prem solutions including integration with identity and security elements.
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline and automation practices, where practical.
- Show strong commitment to learning and self-development, embracing challenging new opportunities.
- Great communication skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders internal and external.
- Working knowledge of ICT Service Delivery and best practices by having experience in application support, operations, incident and change management within a medium/large size organisation.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens already holding a minimum of a baseline security clearance, however preferably already holding an NV1 security clearance.
