Opportunity:
As a Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert tax compliance and planning services to the firm's high profile clients.
Key responsibilities will include:
Taxation Advice: Drafting taxation advice for complex matters, offering insightful and informed recommendations.
Tax Planning: Developing and implementing effective tax strategies to minimise clients' tax liabilities while staying fully compliant with tax laws.
Tax Compliance: Overseeing the accurate and timely preparation and submission of clients' tax returns. This involves reviewing complex tax returns, identifying potential tax-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
Research and Interpretation: Staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and interpreting their implications for clients. Conducting research to address complex tax issues and providing tailored solutions.
Strategic Business Advice: Collaborating with Partners to provide strategic business advice to clients, leveraging your expertise in taxation matters.
Team Management: Managing, coordinating, and delegating client work to team members. Empowering and nurturing team members' capabilities to ensure exceptional performance and drive retention.
Skills and Qualifications:
- CA, CTA, or Masters of Tax qualifications
- Big 4 or Mid-Tier firm experience in Tax
- Experience with funds management clients will be highly regarded
- Strong technical tax expertise in both compliance and advisory
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Driven and highly motivated, with a clear career focus
