ABORIGINAL LIAISON OFFICER

We are seeking a full-time Aboriginal Liaison Officer at the College’s Boarding House, commencing on the 1st of January 2025.
The successful applicant will have a passion for providing opportunities for Aboriginal students in education to excel their chosen path. The successful applicant is to assist in offering an individualised, nurturing and a happy environment to our students, maximising the engagement and progress in a culturally sensitive environment, together with the provision of a wide range of opportunities for individual student growth.
Selection Criteria
A clear commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education. Ability to work flexible hours as required. Demonstrated commitment to contributing to a positive and collaborative environment. Strong knowledge and connection to the local Aboriginal culture and the ability to promote it within the school community. Ability to work effectively in a busy environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A current ‘C’ class Driver’s Licence. Ability to get a cleared Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check. Current Working with Children Check.
