About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated professional to coordinate the State Emergency Information Call Centre Capability (SEICCC)—a vital service activated during emergencies and disasters in South Australia to provide critical public information to the community. SEICCC is powered by trained public sector employees from across government agencies who step up when their support is needed most.
About the Role
As the Training and Capability Coordinator, you will:
- Lead the training and support of SA Government agencies in Public Information and Warning capabilities.
- Develop and deliver training programs (online and face-to-face) across a range of emergency communication initiatives.
- Oversee call centre operations, including recruitment, training, and retention of SEICCC operators, supervisors, and information officers.
- Ensure operational readiness by maintaining training plans, managing resources, and coordinating financial processes.
- Lead capability testing and drive improvements through research and alignment with best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and develop essential procedures and documentation to ensure seamless operations.

Desirable Qualifications:
TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent or a diploma or higher-level qualification in Adult Education.
Remuneration:
ASO5 - $85,790 - $95,413
Special Conditions:
Engagement will be subject to a satisfactory Emergency Services Sector Criminal History Check.
