Position Details
St Munchin’s Catholic School, Gosnells is seeking to employ a passionate, dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher to join our diverse, committed and vibrant team for Term 2. St Munchin’s is a co-educational, double-stream Catholic school, founded by the Mercy Sisters. Today the school caters for over 440 learners and their families from Three-Year-Old Kindy to Year Six. The school draws its enrolment from a rich, diverse and multicultural community which strives to learn and grow together in harmony.

We are seeking a suitably experienced, qualified, professional, committed, positive, "Christ centred, child focused" Catholic educator who has the necessary knowledge, skills, ability and desire, along with:
An understanding of and commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education. A team player, with a proven history of developing positive, professional relationships in their current/previous community. A working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and progressive early years pedagogy to promote best practice. Evidence of data-informed teaching practice through the application of continuous monitoring strategies of achievement Experience and passion for 21st century learning, incorporating explicit teaching, flexible learning and inquiry based learning. A proven history of initiating and/or supporting whole school improvement practices and extra-curricular activities. A professional who values the importance of teaching Social and Emotional Wellbeing to enhance and support the wellbeing of our students. Excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and safe learning environment for all students. A team orientated, positive, professional, cooperative and collaborative educator who values and strives for continual professional growth and values feedback. A life long learner with a high level of professionalism, understanding of confidentiality, empathy and positive interpersonal skills.
Qualifications Required
Relevant 4 year ECE Tertiary Qualification. Accreditation to teach Religious Education (or working towards).
