When you start your apprenticeship or traineeship with CCGT, we’ll be your legal employer, and you’ll work with one of our host employers in your chosen industry.

You’ll gain hands-on experience and training while completing your qualification, with CCGT supporting you every step of the way.

About the Host Employer

Our Host Employer has been a leader in the civil infrastructure industry for over 30 years. They specialise in a wide range of projects, including roadworks, subdivisions, marine developments, and sporting ovals. The company is now looking for a motivated Apprentice with a strong work ethic to join their dynamic team and gain hands-on experience in all areas of civil construction in the Hunter region.


What We're Looking For

We are seeking a candidate who has:

  • A current driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • A valid WHS White Card
  • A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions


About the Role

In this position, you will receive valuable real-world experience while studying for a Certificate III in Civil Construction. You’ll be PAID to learn through 36 months of on-the-job training with Fusion Training Solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm daily, with potential overtime
  • Assisting skilled professionals in various civil construction projects
  • Regularly maintaining and cleaning tools, equipment, and the work site
  • Learning how to operate and maintain construction tools and machinery
  • Following safety protocols on construction sites
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure the successful completion of projects
