Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive individual to work with one of our clients in provide onsite HR support including a broad range of generalist HR tasks, employment contract and onboarding administration and internal recruitment activities. This role may also expand into supporting external clients as part of the GPHR consulting division.
Generalist HR activities including preparing employment contracts, on-boarding and induction programs, assisting with Recruitment and back up for Payroll. This role has the potential to also expand to supporting performance management programs along with all the other IR/ER advice and support businesses typically ask of a HR Generalist.
Our ideal candidate will bring with them a strong work ethic, commitment to quality, exceptional organisational skills and a proactive, problem solving attitude. Candidates ideally would have an good awareness of the Fair Work Act and Award system.
This role will be a office based in Osborne Park, with fortnightly visits to the Cannington location.
Essential skills include:
- Soon to be degree qualified in Human Resources
- Awareness of the Awards system and Fair Work Act
- Understanding of the facets of the ‘cycle of employment’ from organisational development, recruitment and onboarding through to training, coaching, performance development and disciplinary management including termination advice and implementation.
- Interested in developing good recruitment skills
- Wanting to develop a hands on approach to HR and Payroll
- Great organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills including to those located in other locations/states
- Work with a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Have the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Be professional with a high work ethic, friendly and supportive nature.
