We had a big 2024 and 2025 has seen us bring on additional strategic customers across Central Queensland and we need more skilled trades! We are looking for people who are committed delivering high-quality workmanship across commercial projects and we are recruiting an experienced and confident qualified or senior carpenter who takes pride in their work.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Qualified Carpenter to join our diverse team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with the ability to lead projects, mentor junior carpenters, and deliver work to the highest standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to take their career to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage carpentry projects from start to finish.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, and join materials to construct frameworks, fixtures, and structures.
- Ensure all work meets industry standards and project specifications.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices and junior carpenters.
- Collaborate with other trades and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
- Adhere to workplace safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, with at least 5 years' experience, previous leadership exp would be an advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- White Card (Construction Induction Card).
