SEE Trainer

Be part of the team at MAX and support people on their learning journey.

We are expanding our team and would love you to join us !

You will play a key part in the learning experiences of our students and be part of the successful delivery of the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program.

  • Deliver language, literacy, numeracy & digital skills training
  • Be part of making a difference in the community

The opportunity:

  • Use your experience to engage students, use effective learning techniques and maintain a student-centred approach
  • Identify barriers to learning to support student attendance
  • Bring learning to life for students and use different forms of communication to gain positive outcomes
  • Conduct pre-training assessments and implement training to meet contract requirements

About you:

  • Ability to work with diverse participants
  • Be a driven, supportive and community minded person, working with learners and in some regions, non-English speakers to support them in building future opportunities for themselves through learning
  • Able to motivate and upskill jobseekers to improve their LLN skills to complete education and gain employment
  • Have the capacity and desire to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment at any given time
  • Excellent skills in training facilitation and assessment within vocational area

Qualifications:

Current Cert IV TAE or Diploma in Adult Education plus Bachelor with TESOL or

An undergraduate degree with a post graduate qualification in TESOL or equivalent qualifications or willingness to complete a post graduate qualification in TESOL

Knowledge of the Australian Core Skills Framework preferred
