About the Role
As the Executive Assistant to the Executive General Manager (EGM) of Human Resources , you will be the trusted partner, providing high-level administrative and strategic support to the EGM and the HR Leadership Team while managing a variety of tasks with discretion, efficiency, and professionalism.
- Providing proactive executive support, including diary and email management, travel coordination, and correspondence.
- Preparing range of reports (including Board and Committee reports), presentations to support the HRLT and the HR Department.
- Provide project support where required across key HR projects and HR Events.
- Monitor HR budgets, identify discrepancies, and work with GMs monthly to reallocate incorrect costs that are not HR spend.
- Acting as a key liaison between the EGM HR and internal/external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships at all levels.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have proven professional experience supporting senior leadership roles, and an ability to stay one step ahead of the workflow. While not essential, an understanding of the tenets of The Salvation Army or prior working history in a faith-based organisation would be favourable.
Key capabilities and requirements of the role :
- Demonstrated relevant experience as an Executive Assistant is mandatory.
- A degree in HR or Business Administration desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
- Solid level of computer literacy particularly with Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work decisively under pressure, with a sense of urgency and the capability to work autonomously.
