Are you a solutions-focused developer with a passion for innovation and collaboration? Victoria University is seeking an experienced SMS Developer (HEP Level 7) to help enhance and support our Student Management System (TechnologyOne).

As part of the dynamic Digital and Campus Services team , you’ll play a critical role in custom development, system integrations, and delivering digital solutions that directly impact over 40,000 students globally.

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled SMS Developer to join our Digital and Campus Services team at Victoria University. In this role, you will support and enhance VU’s Student Management System (TechnologyOne) by developing custom interfaces, reports, and providing production support. Working within the Student Experience Domain, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that improve student services and operational efficiency.

This is a full time (36.75 hours per week), continuing position, at a HEP 7, $97,863 - $105,932 per annum plus 17% employer superannuation.

An example of your responsibilities or duties you may perform will include:

  • Develop and maintain application software, ensuring alignment with university requirements.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the Student Management System.
  • Design, develop, and optimize ETLs, workflows, and Crystal Reports in TechnologyOne.
  • Assist with data migration, system integrations, and API development.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and other IT teams to enhance system functionality.

About You:

  • Expertise in TechnologyOne development (ETLs, workflows, Crystal Reports)
  • Strong SQL, Java, JavaScript, PL/SQL, or .NET skills
  • Experience in system integrations and data migration
  • Sharp problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
  • Expertise in producing high-quality technical documentation
