Key Responsibilities
  • Help drive daily operations - playing a key role from planting through to harvest.
  • Balance hands-on work with forward planning and proactive maintenance.

  • Operate and help maintain a modern fleet, including John Deere tractors, spray rigs and headers.
  • Embrace digital tools for safety reporting, grain outloading, and streamlining daily operations
This role is about more than just supporting the farm - it’s an opportunity to grow your skills and make a meaningful impact, all whilst working alongside a Farm Manager who’s approachable and eager to mentor.
What you bring

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to mentor others and handle challenges under pressure.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining modern agricultural machinery.
  • Digital fluency, including the use of spreadsheets, apps, and reporting systems.
  • Effective communication skills, able to work independently while inspiring and leading teams.
  • A strong work ethic and a results-driven mindset.
  • An HC licence is beneficial but not essential.
Note: Individuals ready to step into an Assistant Farm Manager / 2IC role are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Gain

Based on an average 52 hour work week (as recorded by the team last year), total earnings are expected to be circa $105k to $120k + per year, plus super.
  • Additional benefits: 3 bedroom house with utilities, internet, and a work ute.
  • Work closely with an experienced Farm Manager while taking on leadership responsibilities.
  • Career Progression: A clear path to Farm Management, with exposure to strategic decision-making and commercial operations.
