About the Role
As the Senior Product Design & Development Manager, you will play a key role in shaping our product offering, ensuring we stay ahead of market trends and deliver high-quality, commercially successful designs. You’ll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, from design and merchandising to production and suppliers, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to final product.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end product design and development process, from trend analysis and concept creation to final execution.
• Collaborate with buying, merchandising, and production teams to ensure designs are aligned with commercial objectives and brand identity.
• Identify and research market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to inform product direction.
• Work closely with factories and suppliers to ensure quality and cost objectives are met.
• Manage timelines and critical paths, ensuring product launches are delivered on schedule.
• Drive innovation and sustainability initiatives within the product development process.
• Lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering creativity and collaboration.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in product design & development within a retail or wholesale environment- Hardgoods experience is highly advantageous
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate trends into commercially viable products.
• Experience working with suppliers, factories, and production teams.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple collections and deadlines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
• Passion for innovation, sustainability, and brand development.
