We are looking for an Associate Architect/ Senior Project Lead with 5-10 years’ experience and a proven track record on seniors’ livings projects to join our team.
About the role
As an Associate Architect/ Senior Project lead you will be an integral part of the day-to-day running of projects and act as the interface between the client and our team. As part of your role, you’ll be responsible for monitoring deliverables against the program, budget and external factors.
You’ll be involved in concept design, financial management and technical expertise to deliver high-quality project work to clients and will ensure adherence to QA standard recording and monitor compliance with contract documents. You will also have the opportunity to encourage critical thinking, diversity of ideas and opinions and find creative, value-added approaches to problems and opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience
- Professional qualification as an Architect or an equivalent overseas qualification.
- 5-10 years post qualification experience as an Architect.
- Demonstrated experience in seniors living, and or mixed-use projects.
- Experience with project delivery (inception to site) on large and complex projects and on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong conceptual, design and graphic skills.
- Experience with technical detailing, construction documentation & construction administration.
- Ability to resolve technical and design challenges through innovative thinking.
- Knowledge of products, materials, and construction methods.
- Exposure to management and coordination of project stakeholders, local authorities and approving bodies, and sub-consultants.
- Ability to develop design options in collaboration with the design team.
- Ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and models as they relate to the project.
- Strong Rhino, Revit, Grasshopper and Adobe Suite/ Infinity capabilities.
- Strong organisational skills.
- The ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative in response to direction from managers.
- Great interpersonal communication skills.
- A flexible and open attitude.
