Hidrive is looking for a Site Team Leader – to join our team in Ingleburn.
This is an important leadership position accountable for operations and site control of the Sydney location. The position will ensure that operational performance and compliance is achieved with respect to safety, quality, schedule and operating cost targets. The position will also provide autonomous leadership to the site installation team to deliver in full on time (DIFOT) for our key stakeholders and have responsibility for site related activities.
The mission for this position is “Create Hidrive promoters through consistent delivery of compliant and reliable products.”
About you
- The minimum requirement for this role is a Trade Qualification, either electrical or mechanical. A candidate with strong leadership and communication skills coupled with financial acumen and experience working with a team to achieve results will be successful in this role.
- Three plus years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, safely leading a team will be highly regarded.
- A ‘6th sense’ and keen eye for detail along with a mindset of improving systems and process to address issues to ensure that Hidrive is continuously improving the value that is delivered to customers.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead an installation team on site which involves fit out and integration of Service Bodies onto Light Commercial Vehicles and Small Trucks.
- Ensure consistency in maintaining Lean process and methods to a high standard.
- Provide feedback to management regarding continuous improvement to systems and processes.
- Challenge conventional methods with new and alternative solutions.
- Contribute to strategic plans relating to scalable service and/or product improvement.
- Deliver excellence in product and service with awareness that ‘The next inspector is our customer’.
- Ensure that all Quality Control processes are thoroughly completed and documented.
- Contribute to assessing relative standards and ensuring that product is compliant.
- Ability to analyse and contribute to the implementation of efficient production and
- manufacturing processes. This includes the necessary reporting that would be required to keep our customers informed.
- Daily production reporting.
- Safely and consistently deliver as per manager expectations.
- Security and accuracy of site assets including fixed asset compliance and inventory stock takes (on site coordination and completion of scheduled stocktakes).
- Collaborate closely with the National Supply Chain team to ensure that stores and operational procurement is run in alignment with National processes.
- Personnel and industrial relations matters.
- Ensures site compliance with applicable regulatory obligations (HSEQ) and point of contact for any authorities to the site.
- Ensures the safe execution of work to the production plans, schedules, and operating budgets.
