ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Project Coordinator that can support our team located Australia-wide in the execution of projects by coordinating resources, tracking project milestones, and ensuring operational efficiency.
The role requires experience in project coordination with a strong understanding of project documentation, logistics, asset management, and procurement.
The role will include supporting project teams at remote sites while also overseeing equipment maintenance and inventory management across multiple sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate project activities to ensure milestones, deadlines, and budgets are met.
- Liaise with project teams during planning and execution phases to support as required.
- Prepare project documentation including PMPs, QMPs, WHS Plans, Environmental Management Plans, SWMS
- Support resource scheduling across program of work
- Monitor project schedules and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor safety records ensuring plant and vehicles are regularly inspected.
- Support risk assessments
- Safety statistics reporting as required
- Review subcontractor invoicing
- Manage Commonwealth assets and inventory at the Defence Warehouse, including equipment receipt, issue, and stock control.
- Maintain the Consumable Master List and oversee stock forecasting per client requirements.
- Ensure compliance with stocktaking and consumable holding requirements.
- Plan and track shipments of goods and equipment as needed.
- Coordinate asset servicing and repairs.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Project Management experience preferably in a Defence context
- Qualification in logistics, facility management, and/or inventory management.
- Certificate III in Warehousing Operations.
- Defence Baseline Clearance
- Dangerous goods training
Desirable
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
- Proven ability to implement and improve logistics and asset management processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
