For GPs subject to Moratorium restrictions, CAIRNS, North Queensland would be the PERFECT reason to consider a sea change for the next 2-3 years. For a Doctor able and willing to relocate, this opportunity will offer: An immediate Medicare provider number with no wait time, whatsoever PLUS a reduction in the moratorium term through track and scaling. Invaluable skills will be accrued contracting in a Rural area of Australia, with the ability to see a greater cross section of patient presentations than in the city catchment suburbs. For those practitioners who enjoy Skin Cancer work, there are many more Skin presentations offered in northern QLD and Skin work is much less competitive.
For a General Practitioner who would like to test the waters first before making a commitment, the practice is flexible and can offer a 6 month Locum placement @ 70% mix billings and $150 hourly rate to start.
This practice is fortunate to be very well supported with generous Registered Nursing and a dedicated, long standing Practice Manager - therefore an incoming GP will be set up to succeed and will have the confidence to provide Care Plans and Health Assessments for a busy patient base. This clinic is 10 yrs established and offers a generous patient following and excellent reputation.

Requirements:

• General Practitioners with specialist registration with AHPRA: FRACGP, FARGP, FACRRM, FRNZCGP or equivalent is a must.
