Foster active patient engagement and participation in the development of individualised health care plans, which empower informed decision making and self-management regarding current and future health care options.
Integrates key objectives from the strategic plan into service delivery for Oncology services.
Acts as an effective patient advocate and assist with decision making and identification of personal support needs.
Participates in staff development, and development and implementation of policies, procedures and guidelines.
Work in collaboration with the cancer nurses within the Health Service and greater cancer care network including telephone/telehealth cancer support services.
