The opportunity
MJ Smith Ground Preparation Pty Ltd is seeking experienced and competent Labourers/Plant Operators to join our team on a full-time casual basis. These positions will be based in our Civil Construction Bogmat Management team working around the Dalby QLD 4405 region.
Roster is 10 days on / 4days off and accommodation and meals are provided if you are not local to Dalby.
Please note this is not a fly in fly our position.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake manual labour and have the experience and ability to operate a Loader/Posi Track and roller to help with the management of bogmats.
- Work as part of a team to complete projects on time and to a high standard
- Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment
- Complete client required inductions
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated experience as a Labourer and Plant Operator in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of civil construction projects
- Proficiency in the operation of a range of mobile plant and machinery with the ability to undertake manual labour tasks
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently, to complete tasks efficiently
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all relevant safety regulations
- Current construction industry tickets and licences, such as a Construction White card and Plant tickets, would be highly regarded
