What the role looks like
As the Dispute Resolution Manager, you will be reporting to the Operational Excellence Manager, be responsible for the management of dispute resolution within CareSuper and a key contributor in the following areas:
- Managing internal and external dispute resolution
- Managing regulatory obligations for the dispute function
- Leading a team of Dispute Resolution Specialists
- Stakeholder management for internal teams within the Fund, service providers and regulators
- Leading and driving trend and root cause analysis
- Managing continuous improvement for dispute resolution and related functions
- Developing strategic initiatives across the fund to support effective dispute identification, objection handling and dispute resolution
- Monitoring and reporting on performance effectiveness
- Ensuring a robust resolution culture across the fund
We’re on the lookout for passionate individuals who embody our values. If you have the following, we want to hear from you:
- Extensive experience in a leadership role, preferably managing a dispute resolution function within financial services or similarly highly regulated entity
- Experience in/knowledge and understanding of superannuation legislation and administration
- Proven experience in conflict resolution, including negotiation and dispute investigation
- Current knowledge of superannuation and insurance that will assist in the resolution of disputes
- The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a flexible, project-based environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting and report writing
- Ability to engage effectively with members and internal stakeholders
- Strong workflow management, organisational and time management skills
- The ability to critically think through problems, resulting in positive outcomes
