The Riverport Veterinary Hospital in Goolwa and Victor Central Vet Clinic in Victor Harbor are looking for an experienced veterinary nurse to join our amazing team. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming, collaborative workplace that prioritises staff well-being and excellent patient care.
We understand the challenges of veterinary nursing and strive to make our clinic a place where you can thrive. Here’s how:
- Location – Our clinics are located in the stunning Fleurieu Peninsula, just an hour south of Adelaide. Enjoy a relaxing sea change with gorgeous beaches, thriving cafes, wineries, and plenty of local activities to help you achieve that coveted work-life balance.
- Flexibility - We are open to discuss hours that fit around your lifestyle (i.e. school hours)
- Supportive Team – You’ll work alongside experienced vets and nurses who are passionate about providing the best care to our patients.
What can we offer you?
- A supportive team culture that values and appreciates every member.
- A chance to grow your skills in a clinic that practices high-quality veterinary medicine. We perform orthopaedic surgeries, have hospitalised patients, do high-quality diagnostic ultrasounds, have two behaviour vets that regularly consult, as well as all the important routine work.
- A well-equipped clinic with digital radiographs, dental radiographs, IDEXX in-house pathology, ultrasound, and separate cat and dog consult rooms.
- A stash of snacks, coffee, and plenty of laughs to keep you energised during the day.
What do we need from you?
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and minimum 2 years clinical experience
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A love for building relationships with clients and providing excellent patient care.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow.
Got a passion for a certain area in veterinary nursing? We want to hear about it! Whether it’s behaviour, surgery, dentistry, or something else, we’re here to help you follow your interests and achieve your goals.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to tour the clinic and meet the team during working hours – so you can see exactly why we love what we do!
