Position title: User Experience Designer
6 months duration
Location - Melbourne CBD - Hybrid

Position Purpose

• The primary responsibility of the User Experience (UX) Designer is to use human-centred design skills to advocate, design and integrate easy to use digital service user interfaces into work packages delivered by clients' digital delivery work streams.
• Translating complex business and technical requirements into simple, easy to use, customer friendly experiences is paramount.
• The UX Designer will work closely with project streams across the Transformation Office and Platform Services teams to deliver an exceptional customer service experience for clients products and services undertaking both customer research, design, and testing. The UX Designer will also collaborate with support teams, including Media and Public Affairs to design and build new products for the organisation's website.
• The UX Designer will be expected to maintain documented UX standards and contribute to the design libraries using the Figma application.
• The User Interface Designer will report to the clients Platform Services Lead within the Platform Services Office.
• The team is comprised of Salesforce and MuleSoft functional analysts, testers, developers, administrators, integration and data migration specialists.

Key Selection criteria

• Experience designing for business enterprise-level digital projects.
• Demonstrated ability to design best practice intuitive digital experiences, with expertise in user-centred design processes.
• Demonstrated use of design methods including high-level customer journey maps for defined personas, prototyping, and visual communication tools to explore the possibilities and their viability
• Ability to run design and test/validation workshops and with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to undertaken user/customer research and produce relevant artefacts of information gathered
• Proven ability to work closely with other disciplines and roles as part of an agile, cross-functional team and manage feedback, iterations, and approvals for creations.
• Proven stakeholder management capabilities, strong influence, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong verbal and written skills.
• Salesforce experience is desirable given the build is based on the Salesforce Lightning and Salesforce Community Portal platforms, and thus design must be feasible and within the boundaries of what can be achieved with Salesforce.
• Experience using collaborative tools Jira, Confluence, Figma and Salesforce design libraries and guides is essential.
