- Surface Preparation:
- Cleaning steel surfaces using chemical cleaning agents to remove dirt, grease, rust, and other contaminants.
- Applying chemical solutions, such as acids or alkaline cleaners, to prepare surfaces for further processing like painting, coating, or welding.
- Chemical Handling:
- Mixing and preparing chemical cleaning solutions according to specified formulas.
- Safely handling and storing chemical cleaning agents, adhering to safety regulations and guidelines.
- Safety Compliance:
- Following all safety protocols and guidelines when handling chemicals and operating cleaning equipment.
- Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, and respirators.
- Quality Control:
- Inspecting cleaned surfaces to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.
- Reapplying cleaning agents or re-cleaning surfaces as necessary to achieve desired results.
- Team Collaboration:
- Coordinating with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of cleaning tasks.
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding work progress and any issues that arise.
- $32.50 - $37.50 + Penalties + Shift Allowance
