JRM is seeking the drive and passion of an experienced Executive Chef looking for a multi-site national leadership role. The role will oversee Hospitality Services across a range of operations including Schools, Residential Colleges, Airline Lounges and Corporate Clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist and oversee the culinary operations across multiple hospitality sites.
  • Manage high culinary standards, policies and procedures.
  • Train, mentor and develop the kitchen teams while driving excellence along with sustainable succession planning.
  • Ensure strict compliance, safety and food regulations including HACCP and OH&S.
  • Drive financial management with a solid understanding of business acumen including but not limited to managing budgets, labour and food costs ad profitibility.
  • Work closely with the Business Develoment and Operations team on client relationships and open tenders.

What you bring to the role

  • Proven experience in an executive chef role, managing mulitple site across mulitple sectors of the industry
  • Exeprience in the education sector is essential
  • Strong leadership skills with a genuine passion for team development and mentorship.
  • Ability to drive innovation, quality and excellence at every level.
  • Strong financil acumen and the ability to manage budgets, cost control and forecasting.
  • Thorough up to date knowledge of food safety and compliance along with regualtions around worplace safety
  • Flexibility to work across Australia and New Zealand as and when required. This will be pre scheduled and would typically require being away for 2-3 days at a time.
