We are hiring Grocery Delivery Drivers now!
We are a family owned and operated business with over 15+ years of experience in the refrigerated transport industry. Our offices are currently located in QLD, NSW and Western Australia with our delivery rosters reaching extensively into major and regional areas of Australia to deliver dry, chilled and frozen grocery delivery orders for a major supermarket chain.
As a grocery delivery driver for Freshdrop Transport Group, formally Velox Transport Services Pty Ltd, you will have extensive driver training with 4.5 tonne trucks and the flexibility to choose from rosters over 7 days a week and 3 shifts a day. This is an essential service.
Position : Grocery Delivery Driver
· Permanent full time
Essential requirements:
· Australian Drivers Licence ‘C’ class
· Previous delivery driver experience
· Ability to manoeuvre trucks safely into position for loading and unloading
· Use electronic tablet to record rosters and delivery schedules
· Safely load, unload, and deliver undamaged grocery orders
· Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to ensure vehicle is running efficiently
· Reporting and troubleshooting as required
· Be able to demonstrate you can work safely to delivery schedules and rosters
· Must be able to work to deadlines and implement quality control and safety at all times
· Guaranteed annual earnings will vary between shift schedules:
Monday to Friday; or
Thursday to Monday shifts (include weekend rates)
$65,000 to $75,000 base salary
Further allowances and penalty rates are available as per our Enterprise Bargaining Agreement and depending on Employee Skill Level and relevant driver experience which will increase your earning potential substantially.
You will report directly to your Area Duty Manager for rostering and delivery scheduling.
