SA Health is seeking compassionate and dedicated professionals to join our Alcohol & Drug Information Service (ADIS) team as a Registered Nurse 1 (Multiple Positions) within the Drug and Alcohol Services unit.
About the role:
Reporting to the Manager – ADIS in this rewarding role, you will play a crucial part in providing comprehensive support and guidance to individuals and families affected by alcohol and drug-related issues. As an ADIS Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to showcase your exceptional communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities while delivering high-quality care and support services.
Working in a collaborative and supportive environment, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to promoting health and well-being. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing tailored care plans, and providing evidence-based interventions to facilitate positive changes in individuals' lives.
About you:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and to prioritise workload.
- Ability to be, resilient, innovative, solution-oriented, adaptable to change and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting
