About the Opportunity

As one of the first contact points for community members at the Cardinia Cultural Centre (CCC), this position is integral to delivering exceptional customer service and managing administrative responsibilities at the front counter.

You will make an impact by

  • Delivering a positive customer experience through face-to-face interactions at CCC and other Council facilities.
  • Responding to enquiries with accurate and relevant information, upselling, and making recommendations to increase business for CCC.
  • Performing duties within agreed customer service levels to enhance the reputation of CCC and Council.
  • Relaying community feedback and suggestions regarding services, events, and Council procedures to the Senior Operations Officer.
  • Utilising technology across multiple platforms to provide efficient service.

What you will bring

  • Demonstrated skills in providing excellent customer service in a positive and efficient manner to all internal and external customers.
  • Ability to use technology across multiple platforms.
  • Effective communication skills through various channels (phone, face-to-face, online, email).
  • Experience in explaining event details, payment processing requirements, and other relevant information.
  • Responsibility for completing end-of-day functions related to handling cash, cheques, EFT, and other financial transactions.
  • A proactive approach to improving customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
