Latrobe Regional Health have an opportunity for a Senior Early Psychosis clinician to join their Warragul and Wonthaggi teams, with your time being divided equally across the two sites on a full time ongoing basis.
The Gippsland Early Psychosis Service (GEPS) works to improve the mental health and quality of life of young people with suspected or experiencing first episode psychosis, through evidence-based practice, by promoting early identification, providing optimal interventions and minimising the distress, pain and impoverished quality of life for effected individuals and their families. This work includes working directly with the young person, their family and other natural supports along with key external agencies and supports that may be involved in the young person's life such as but not limited to, school, GP and DFFH.
About you
- Registered Nurse Division with postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing
- Commitment to recovery and evidence-based treatment for people with a psychiatric illness
- 5 years mental health experience
- A Social worker with appropriate mental health experience
- Occupational Therapist or Psychologist, registered with AHPRA
- Driver's license
