The Opportunity
This role forms part of the Construction Commercial Advisory Directorate, which is responsible for delivering the construction commercial advisory and contract management services for transport project delivery, to ensure quality outcomes for the South Australian public.

The Department has entered into a number of contracts for the delivery of significant and complex infrastructure projects. The Commercial Advisor is responsible for providing high level, specialist commercial and contract management expert advice and review of complex matters for all infrastructure contract types, including Design and Construct, Construct only and Alliancing.

Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in Law, Engineering and or other relevant disciplines would be highly regarded.

Special Conditions
A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.

The incumbent may be required to work anywhere within the state and stay away overnight for prolonged periods.

The incumbent may be required to work outside of normal working hours, including nights and weekends.

Remuneration
ASO6 - $98,478 to $104,165 pa + superannuation.
