About the Role:
The RCP (Regional Community Care Platform) Project Manager has the responsibility for leading the RCP Project for Bendigo Health and manage the project’s schedule, scope, resources, risks, stakeholders, communications, quality and integration in order to deliver an effective and well utilised RCP capability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and oversee the creation of essential project management documentation, such as document libraries, status reports, and risk and issue logs.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and conflict resolution abilities, with a proven track record in fostering partnerships and collaborating with stakeholders from various disciplines to drive successful outcomes.
- Lead the team to achieve high-quality project results while ensuring alignment with organisational management protocols and responsibilities.
- Independently oversee and coordinate project activities, including stakeholder meetings and other appointments, while providing regular progress reports.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and milestones by forecasting, tracking, controlling, and reporting on progress.
- Identify potential project risks, document them, and propose effective risk management strategies to minimize impact.
- Continuously monitor and assess risks, ensuring timely implementation of mitigation measures.
- Lead and motivate the project team, driving performance in alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Collaborate with project team members, executives, stakeholders, and external resources, providing guidance and direction to foster open communication and teamwork.
- Analyse business processes, anticipate needs, identify areas for improvement, and create and implement effective solutions.
- React quickly and efficiently to requests, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Engage confidently and professionally with individuals at all levels to build strong relationships and gain cooperation in achieving organisational goals.
Key Selection Criteria:
- A tertiary qualification in Project Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Extensive Project Management experience in management and delivery of large complex or multidisciplinary projects.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate, develop and maintain effective business relationships with key stakeholders to influence and gain agreement to scope and project objectives.
- Proven experience in time management and resources to meet timelines and scope.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively identify, manage and mitigate risks to maintain the project objectives and timelines.
- Excellent judgment with proven ability to identify problems and deal with challenging, complex, and difficult issues to develop solutions that meet the business objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed planning, analysis and estimation in order to develop effective project plans, timelines and budgets.
- Proven time management skills with the ability to respond quickly and efficiently to demands, while managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Experience in working within a public health environment.
