About the role

Permanent part time opportunity to lead the development and implementation of professional support and strategies to strengthen the abilities of the allied health workforce to promote, develop and maintain high quality clinical service provision using implementation science, evidence-based practice (EBP), knowledge translation (KT), disinvestment principles.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Represent Metro North Allied Health in relevant statewide networks and forums.
  • Provide professional supervision and mentoring to allied health staff in relation to education and training, workforce development, implementation science, EBP, and KT.
  • Acquire and apply an advanced level of knowledge and skills in contemporary workforce practices, workforce development, and redesign, to achieve development of strategies for a clinically effective, safe, productive, and sustainable allied health workforce.
  • Support the application of grants and other potential supports for implementation
