About The RoleReporting to the Senior Managers within Waterways Drainage & Catchments Service Programs or Service Programs One Water, we now have two Program Manager roles open on a full time, permanent basis and a part time 0.8 - 18-month fixed term contract.
In these roles you will help support Service Programs team to develop rolling 5–10-year investment programs for the key Melbourne Water services. This will be achieved through:
- Working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the knowledge and understanding of all teams are embraced within the program development cycle
- Collating and analysing a range of financial, asset and service data in support of rolling 5–10-year investment programs
- Assisting with the design and development of asset, risk and prioritisation systems that support the development of the investment programs
- Ensuring Service Programs improvement initiatives are well coordinated, focussed and tracked against milestones
About You
- Tertiary qualification in engineering, science, commerce or business management
- Extensive experience and knowledge of service planning processes and/or asset management and planning, risk assessment and management techniques, and project and program management
- Leadership and guidance in relation to complex works, projects and programs
- Demonstrated capability to practically evaluate options and proposals
- Strong financial acumen in the context of complex, large-scale infrastructure
- Ability to interpret complex information and convert into meaningful artefacts and plans
