About the role
As the Manager, Workplace Relations, you will lead WorkSafe's employee and union engagement and be responsible for the design and delivery of strategic programs and consultation in alignment with WorkSafe's Enterprise Agreement.
Additional responsibilities include the effective delivery and management of key compliance activities and WorkSafe's remuneration framework relating to the Enterprise Agreement, legislative changes and government policy.
A key focus of this role also includes leading and supporting the development of our dedicated Workplace Relations team and working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
As a trusted advisor within our People and Culture team, your expertise will be pivotal in providing education and guidance across the team and uplifting our team capability in relation to employee relations.

You will be a workplace relations expert with strong leadership experience, with one of your key strengths being your ability to engage and communicate effectively across a diverse range of stakeholders and audiences coupled with the ability to apply knowledge of relevant research and analysis.

You will possess the following skills and experience:
• Demonstrated experience in negotiating, influencing,advocating for and implementing modernised enterprise agreements in a unionised environment
• Thorough knowledge of employee/industrial relations,human resource management and policy and procedures development
• Business acumen in decision making and advice, supported by a demonstrated record of success in providing a high level of advice and support at an executive level relating to workplace relations matters
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead teams to deliver outcomes and effectively coordinate the integration of resources, processes, systems, people and policies.
• A thorough understanding of remuneration frameworks that underpin Enterprise Agreements and Executive Officer Contracts.
• A high level of knowledge and expertise in the systems and regulations governing the function, and of the industry and discipline
