THE ROLE:
The Analyst is held accountable for program management and for ensuring accurate and timely deliverables. Analysts would also create workable project plans and manage all stages of the program, including writing QAR specs, developing all client reporting (tables and graphics), ensuring key project milestones are met, and fulfilling all client requests.

- Timely delivery of client materials, including presentations.
- QAR Specs
- Work with Research Manager to build robust QAR specs, utilizing best practice
- Document all code appropriately with comments, and clean-up all code, as appropriate.
- Program Management and Planning
- Prepare and manage project plans and update things to consider folder
- Ensure project milestone dates are met.
- Data Quality, Processing and Production
- Work with Research Manager to develop report specifications.
- Execute specs and table set-up.
- Get sign-off from Research Manager on final data specs (CSR, MDT, Executive Summary, Penetration Reports).
- Construct the database, including coding, past and current year data checks.
- Review 50% and 100% data with Research Manager. Resolve errors, troubleshoot, and logic check data at 50% and 100% dates, with Analyst if appropriate.
- Follow-up on questions, outstanding issues from data review meetings.
- Get sign-off on final data from Research Manager.
- Work with Relationship Managers to determine and draft all other delivery specs (presentations, research reports, etc.).
- Work with Research Managers on production of Compensation Report, Respondent Summary, and provide data as needed.
- Client Engagement and Delivery
- Work with Research and Relationship Manager to create graphics.
- Create and data-check graphics or manage creation of graphics if appropriate.
- Work with team to prepare client-specific deliverables as directed by Research Manager (specific books, number of copies, to whom and how package is mailed).
- Prepare deliverables as necessary (copies of client deliverables, penetration reports, executive summaries, etc.).
- Check quality of all final delivery books to clients.
- Meet client requests for SARs and/or Account by Account reports.
- Where relevant, manage/oversee Analyst in meeting program requirements.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Strong qualitative and analytical skills – a proven ability to work with large amounts of complex quantitative and qualitative data. Demonstrated aptitude for solving problems.
- Product expertise – strong knowledge of the Australian Corporate Banking and Financial Markets competitors and ability to review data in the context of market trends.
- Excellent project management – a proven track record in successfully delivering research projects within tight timelines and at high degree of accuracy. Ability to consistently meet program deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – a proven ability to build rapport and work well within a team environment to ensure programs are delivered.
- Strong academic background – candidate must have a tertiary qualification, preferably in a finance/economics field and basic computer programming knowledge and experience.
