The Opportunity
We have two fantastic part-time positions (20 hours each) available in our Medical Administration department—one within the Geriatrics Department and the other in the Renal Department.
In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring specialist clinics run smoothly by providing expert administrative and secretarial support to our specialist doctors . This is a great opportunity to be at the heart of patient care, working behind the scenes to help deliver seamless healthcare services. In this role you will be.
- Coordinating appointments – scheduling and rescheduling to ensure optimal patient care.
- Liaising with GPs and specialists – gathering essential patient information.
- Preparing medical correspondence – accurately typing and formatting letters for GPs and other specialists.
- Organising patient records – ensuring all relevant information is ready for consultations.

- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to multitask
- Exceptional customer service
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion
- Proficient in computer systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology with the ability to type accurately and efficiently
