The role
Are you an experienced interstate truck driver with a Multi-Combination (MC) license? Join the team at Ron Crouch Transport as an Interstate Driver and take on a pivotal role in our reliable and growing road transport operations across Australia. This full-time position is based in our Wagga Wagga Site.
What you'll be doing
- Safely operate a range of heavy vehicles including semi-trailers and B-doubles to transport goods interstate
- Adhere to all road rules, OH&S and fatigue management regulations
- Maintain accurate vehicle logs and documentation
- Effectively communicate with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Undertake routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance as required
- Provide exceptional customer service and liaise with clients as needed
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a heavy vehicle interstate truck driver
- MC (Multipurpose Combination) driver's licence
- Basic fatigue management accreditation
- Dangerous Goods Licence (Desirable)
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
